PET GOAT ENJOYS FREEDOM OF TOP-RANKED KAURI CLIFFS

May 06, 2013

KERIKERI, NZ -- In a land better know for its sheep, on a golf course better known for its lofty world ranking and 5-star accommodations, Tiger the Goat has impressed staff and guests of Kauri Cliffs Golf Club with her outgoing personality, cart-driving prowess and social media skills."It's important that we don't overlook Tiger's grazing abilities. That's her bread and butter, and it comes in handy on those steep sections of the course that need trimming," said Ryan Brandeburg, director of golf at Kauri Cliffs GC. CAPE, KAURI CENTER NZ CRUISE PHENOMENON

April 14, 2013

NAPIER, New Zealand -- Golf at seaside is widely acknowledged to be the game's ideal setting, and cruise lines are leveraging this dynamic in growing numbers, especially in the South Pacific, where upscale resorts are eager to entertain golfing tourists on shore leave. Nowhere is this trend more evident than in New Zealand, where a combination of truly desirable golf venues and active, savvy facilitation of shore leaves has resulted in marked jumps in Asian arrivals. Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive Kevin Bowler said the growth can only be partly attributed to Chinese New Year, which saw Chinese visitors increase 106.4 per cent in February, because growth can be seen ...Read more...
