GOLFERHOLICS TRAVEL TO GOLD COAST FOR 'PORTLAND' CHALLENGE
Portland 'Golferholics' in action
A group of 12 seasoned 'Golferholics' recently held their annual 'Portland' vs 'The Rest' tournament on Queenslands Gold Coast.
The Portlanders, from Portland Golf Club Victoria, are group of 6 true 'Golferholics' who challenge another 6 players from Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast to play an annual teams event, as well as the ultimate prize, the 'Gold Jacket'.
The tournament was held over 3 days, with rounds at Links Hope Island, RACV Royal Pines and Lakelands golf courses.
Headed by Philip Kelly, the Portlanders were the winners for 2012, with the 'Gold Jacket' going to Jack Brutovic.
Golferholics.Com extended a warm welcome to the group and provided prizes for the Lakelands round.
