Tournament Golf Courses
Waikoloa Kings’ Course
Waikoloa’s classic Kings’ Course, was designed by former British Open champion Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. It boasts emerald green fairways and shimmering blue lakes that weave through the timeless beauty of the black lava fields. These combine to create a stunning visual contrast found nowhere else on the planet while Mauna Kea towers silently in the distance.
Mauna Lani North Course
Mauna Lani's North Course is a truly special golf experience on the Big Island of Hawaii. Built on a lava bed, the North is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by mesquite forests. Number 17, a par three tucked into a natural lava amphitheatre, is one of Mauna Lani Resort's signature holes and a favourite "I was here" photo spot. A 230-acre protected archaeological district lies on the northern boundary and the North Course has fast become one of the most popular tournament venues on the Island.
Waikoloa Beach Course
The Beach Course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr winds its way through swaying coconut palms and lava down to the brilliance and power of the Pacific Ocean. It crashes on the lava behind the 7th green while you reach for your camera and then try not to let the beauty distract you from your birdie putt
